The case consists of digital as well as documentary evidence. This might be the reason for taking so many months. The investigating agencies would do well if they could devise means to reduce the period. Modern digital technologies are giving rise to new forms of cybercrimes. This is a new challenge for the investigating agencies. But at the same time digital footprints can be probed in a lesser time. Let us use technology to counter technology based crimes.
