Has USA not belied its own logic it has been using against Iran?

Has USA not belied its own logic it has been using against Iran?
From The #ToI, March 3, 2026
So far we have been understanding that there is an ideological conflict between Iran and USA. They were good friends up to the time Shah of Iran was in power. In 1970s, he was overthrown and a radical regime which was anti-USA took over. This was followed by hostage crises when USA had to pay heavy amount to Iran to get its diplomats freed. This was a sort of humiliation for the USA. Then came Iran’s insistence to promote its nuclear programme contrary to its rich oil reserves which it was capable of using to meet its energy needs. Iran persisted in strengthening USA’s distrust that nuclear programme was primarily to target USA and its middle-east allies. The smouldering conflict escalated during Trump adminitration when it was becoming increasingly clear that something bigger was going to happen. And it happened on February 28, 2026. In a joint operation by USA and Israel – Israel acting as frontend soldier – finished Ayatollah Khomeini, the supreme leader of Iran. Up to this stage, everything appeared to be a usual savagery of this world. But now a mind-shaking information is coming that precision attack at the place where Ayatollah was located at the time of strike was determined with the aid of Anthropic AI with its brand product Claude. The media reports point out that American defence agencies demanded assistance from Anthropic for its product Claude to carry out war operations but Anthropic declined it on ethical considerations. The Trump administration decided to stop use of Anthropic products. However, despite breach of client-service provider relationship, Claude was used by American agencies to give precision to strike Iran to kill Ayatollah. In other words, AI has entered war operations in the world.
We in TheLawyerics tried to access some material on Net to find out how the situation is developing with regard to deployment of AI for war purposes.
We quote some information from US-based The Guardian of March 3, 2026 . The Guardian reports as follows, “Anthropic’s AI model, Claude, was reportedly used by the US military in the barrage of strikes as the technology shortens the kill chain – meaning the process of target identification to legal approval and strike launch.”

The Guardian further reports, “The US and Israel, which previously used AI to identify targets in Gaza launched almost 900 strikes on Iranian targets in the first 12 hours alone, during which Israeli missiles killed Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.”

The Guardian further notes, “Academics studying the field say AI collpasing the planning time required for complex strikes – a phenomenon known as decision compression, which some fear could result in human military and legal remedy merely rubber-stamping automated strike plans.”
If all this is true, the Ayatollah might be historically remembered as first political casualty of AI-backed warfare.
Now let us go back to American thinking that Iran ought not have nuclear capability because it is a dangerous technogly capable of widespread destruction. USA is branding Iran as a terrorist state. America is backing its stand perhaps on the Treaty on the Non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, which expresses concern over devastating effect of nuclear weapons in the following words, “Considering the devastation that would be visited upon all mankind by a nuclear war and the consequent need to make every effort to avert the danger of such a war and to take measures to safeguard the security of peoples. Believing that the proliferation of nuclear weapons would seriously enhance the danger of nuclear war … calling for the conclusion of an argreement on the prevention of wider dissemination of nuclear weapons, …” These are the provisions which enable USA to object to nuclear programmes of other countries.
There is no nuclear technology which if misused would not have serious impact on whole of world. But what about AI. Does it not have harmful effect. It does. Nuclear strike delivers an instant blow whereas AI does it slowly. The way we have woven a web of digital and electromagnetic technologies in our lives, is a matter of concern unless these technologies are used wisely for the welfare of mankind as a whole. These technologies have the potential to cripple life.
Time is not far when 6G technology will also step in. It will further boost AI. These technologies might act as husband and wife. AI will act as advisor-wife and the 6G will act upon it as hen-pecked husband. Ironically, mankind’s own innovations will destroy mankind. All this calls for controlled use of AI and other digital and electromagnetic technologies.
Very recently, there was an AI summit in India. The joint declaration was quite encouraging. The summit made the following emotional appeal, “The choices that we make today will shape the AI-enabled world that future generations will inherit. … Advancing secure, trustworthy and robust AI is foundational to building trust and maximizing societal and economic benefits. Noting that deepening our understanding of the potential security aspects remains important, we recognize the importance of security in AI systems, industry-led voluntary measures, and the adoption of technical solutions, and appropriate policy frameworks that enable innovation while promoting the public interest throughout the AI’s lifecycle.” However, within a few days a news has arrived that strike on Iran was AI-assisted. What a dillemma? There is urgent need for international legal framework for AI and other technologies based on digitial and electromagnetic phenomena.
