How much time it should take to investigate such crimes and to conclude trial. Cyber crimes leave digital footprints. Collection of evidence involves downloading of data and meta-data. Once this is done, you are ready with trial. The conventional police bearing a dreaded look and believing in sticks and slaps is not suitable for it. Law enforcement machinery needs cyber experts whether it investigating officers, public prosecutor or judges. It is better to create accredited agencies to assist police and public prosecutors in such matters so that trial is concluded within reasonable time. According to me, six  to eight weeks is the reasonable period within which trial should be concluded.

Cyber crime is spreading like a Covid virus. Unfortunately, our law enforcement machinery is still of colonial period. It needs overhaul. Otherwise, cyber crime may go completely out of control. Our judicial system is already crumbling. It may then fall down under if machinery for dealing with cyber-crime is improved.
